About Robert H. Ahola

I have always enjoyed photography.

Got my hands on an old Canon FTB over 25 years ago. Back then, photography was just a hobby of extreme interest in the fields of optics and film. It wasn't until I moved to live and work in Asia 6 years ago that my hobby became an obsession. Asia, the land of a photographer's dream, where everyone owns a camera and taking pictures is the only way to communicate. It was there that my passion for taking pictures exploded to levels beyond what I could of imagined.

Now that I am living back in Canada, I see a whole new world.

Colour, focusing and honesty are the 3 principles that I practice when taking pictures.

I am always looking for new cameras to have fun with and probably will never stick to just one.
